[What is BCL?]
BCL not only proves anglers' achievements by linking their fishing records to NFT lures, but also provides a service (the BCL app) that allows anglers to praise each other's achievements and efforts and compete with each other.
[How to play BCL]
This lure comes with an NFT. When you receive the product, you can earn the lure NFT by registering the 5-digit number printed on the package on the BCL app. In addition, if you submit your catch on the BCL app, your catch will be linked to the NFT lure and recorded on the blockchain.
*Please note that if you lose your package, we may not be able to reissue your number.

What is "cold cranking"?
It is unclear when the term "cold cranking" first came into use. Well, it was called "cold water cranking" until recently, so you can understand what it means. Yes, it refers to fishing with crankbaits in cold water.
By the way, Furusawa's definition of "cold cranking" is fishing with a crankbait when the weather transitions from mid-winter to early spring. To be more specific, it is when the water temperature in the field you are fishing in reaches 8°C or higher.
Are there any crankbaits specifically for "cold cranking"?
First, the answer to this question is that any crankbait will catch fish even in low water temperatures. However, there are some crankbaits that are particularly suited to low water temperatures, or that excel at low water temperatures, and in any case, they are extremely effective.
Well, I can't actually ask the bus so I can't say for sure.
But I, Furusawa, believe there is one.
That's right, I believe that the Wigglewort, my beloved bait, is a crankbait designed specifically for cold cranking.
Which Wigglewort model catches more fish, the old one or the new one?
A: Of course you can catch fish with either one!
However, I personally like to use the old-style Wigglewort for cold cranking. However, the old-style Wigglewort has been out of production for decades and is difficult to find. So what should you do?
"That's right! I'll just make it myself!"
The birth of "The Crank that chooses its user!!"
It wasn't easy to create a crankbait specifically for "cold cranking" that incorporated the same elements of the old Wiggle Wart that would make fish bite even in low water temperatures...
Well, it's not easy to make any kind of lure, but we use lures made long ago as models and make them using current methods and materials, so no matter what you say, they won't be the same.
However, it was possible to create a crankbait that incorporated elements that would be effective for "cold cranking" as Furusawa envisioned. But...
If you try to incorporate all of these elements into a crankbait, it will end up being extremely difficult to use. This means that instead of being a lure that anyone can use, the crankbait is completely selective in its use.
"Cold cranking is W3!!"
Furusawa loves the old-style Wigglewort. W3 was made with that goal in mind, but it's hard to make something that can surpass the original. To be honest, I can't even flatter myself and say that W3 is better in every aspect.
However, there is one area where W3 is overwhelmingly superior. That is...
It flies better than the old Wigglewort!
This is actually very important, because by flying a little further, it can dive a little deeper and touch ``something'' at a depth that the old and current Wiggleworts could not reach.
This overwhelming advantage combined with the fact that it is effective in periods of low water temperature has made the W3 a crankbait designed specifically for "cold cranking."
You can even catch them at Lake Sagami in December!
The W3 is supposed to be effective when the water temperature starts to rise (around February) at 8°C, but it has been able to get bass to bite even at 8°C in December when the water temperature is dropping, even in Lake Sagami. This is proof that the W3 is a crankbait designed specifically for "cold cranking."
